Description I found heaven when I found this field. My only wish is that I cold go back in time and take some more photos. They are all finished blooming now.

*EDIT* I resized....I hope it's big enough now.

Totally gorgeous - and such interesting (red) flowers. I've never seen any like those before.

I see you say they are Mexican Hats? Very suitable name

Thank you!
The field was very beautiful. I wish I could thank the person that planted it. It was so yucky just a few years ago.

Andrea, I love the mixture of the red flowers with the yellow and white daisies

Thank you darling ducky!
I loved that field. A couple of years ago it was just mud and junk leftover from the addition that was built. Someone must have scattered thousands and thousands of seeds. I'd like to thank them.

Very pretty - why do you have it set so small? Are these Mexican Hat daisies? (I think that is what these are called)

We have them here and since I have been photographing flowers and wildflowers I have been studying up on them. I like them and I think the name is very creative. Some things kinda stick in my tiny brain...

I'm glad something sticks in your brain... I had to look them up. I've been very lately.
