Saya from Shinsengumi Imon PEACEMAKER and PEACEMAKER Kurogane. She is a young girl who lives in Shimabara (Kyoto's Red Light District) under the guidance of Akesato, a courtesan who is in love with Keisuke Yamanami, a member of the Shinsengumi. Saya is mute, she can't speak and comunicates by writing in the dirt or on the person's hand.This is a frame from the manga, PEACEMAKER Kurogane by Nanae Chrono. Saya is practising playing her shamsen, a traditional Japanese instrument.
This picture was drawn VERY quickly and coloured equally fast. -_-' And the tail of her obi knot looks off...but yeah... I'm happy with it! I love Saya, she's so cute. I must admit that the anime is pretty average and the manga is SOOOOOOOO much better! Read the manga if you like samurai violence, historical fiction, maniacal bad guys, sexy commanders, hilarity and a gay guy trying to sex up the not gay commander! Almost all the characters were real people or are based on real people.
