She kept trying to wash it off, but the smell kept lingering on her skin. As it seeped in deeper, she soon began to notice that her skin was changing, thick patches of hair were beginning to show up all over. But that wasn’t nearly as shocking as the heavy weight she began to notice as her fur-covered tail began to grow heavier, the weight causing her attention to shift. As soon as she saw it, and saw the telltale white stripe along the black fur, she realized what it meant, although realizing what was happening and believing it were two separate things.

Either way, that skunk that had sprayed her had the same identifying tail, and stripe, and smell…and now, so did she. She began to doubt she would be able to simply wash the smell away anymore, not when it seemed to be coming from her now…
