Description Progress on my Guyver dude.. A few errors to fix in the textures.. may add a little more geo to round out some of the curves, but over all, I'm very happy w/ my texture bakes..

im looking at making a full 3D printed guyver outfit but my 3d work is not up to the job,

how come the polygons come out triangles? i thought when 3d modeling your suppose to try to use quads? sorry im a noob

that's ok, no worries.. when I re-surfaced my high res mesh, I purposefully modeled it in triangles. I know a lot of other character artists tend to model their low res model in quads, for animation purposes, but in the end, you want to control your mesh in triangles because the game engine is going to triangulate the model anyway.. so it's like killing 2 birds w/ 2 stone

so you can model in quads but the engine will triangulate the quads anyways?
