not sure if this is gonna come off goofy or not, it's not supposed to. I just don't usually take photos of myself, so sometimes it's hard to take myself seriously when I do.have someone in the family that had a photograph taken of them back in the 30's... 40's... up to the 60's with their car? A lot of folks to. The automobile ment a lot more back then, it kinda was a bit of a status symbol I think in many ways. I've got a lot of my grandfather when he lived back in colorade standing and posing casually in front of his '51 Ford. That's the inspiration I got to do this one. Any suggestions or comments appreciated. thanks for looking...

I like this, I don't se how you would think it goofy. I think that it's a nice idea. I like the choice of clothing, it works well here.

its not goofy, matto. came out beautifully. the only thing that threw it off is the garbage can in the backround. other than that, you could easily pass it off as a classic photo.

i really really want to hit viva and paso robles, i think that would be massive fun. ive gotta get my buick up and going and running strong, i want it to be a really reliable car so im spending the extra cash to try to get her supreme. moon aint that big of a thing though, so dont fret about that. sorry to hear about the gal trouble, hey could you keep an ear to the ground about some white walls?

Really cool and not goofy at all!
It sure has this old 60's feel to it and the limited DOF via some Photoshop post-work suits the pic and gives it this pinhole-camera type of feel.
I've seen similar shots of Mr. Mike Ness (of Social Distortion) and his Lonely King's Car Club buddies, all having this East-LA type of look, cool as shit with their tattooed sleeves and posing in front of their kustoms and I'd trade in any of the modern high-tech cars for one like the one pictured here since those cars not only had a timeless style but also a soul that new rides lack.

thanks a lot for the comment! Always like to hear something in depth like that. Yeah, that's the idea I was going for... to my friends, sure, it looks a little goofy I guess, but I like how it came out and the feeling it;s suppose to portray.
