I hope you realize how much your skills are the envy of others. It's not only something WILDLY OUT THERE, but with your way of drawing it, it seems like something realistically possible and that's something that I just love when I see your art. ^^

I want my stuff to feel cinematic but I haven't the skills/experience to pull it off yet... but let me keep studying your work while I'm at it-!! Β *-*

Hahaha I think my pieces would look more cinematic if I did a better job erasing out the black lines. XD; Something to do when I have way more free time.

Hhhhh, I think the way you place figures in actual scenes, and the incredible way you light 'em, is cinematic enough-!! Β *0*

Wow, this is insane! That robot looks ...awesome! Are they in the midst of installing its mainframe? Or maybe taking it out to update its battle software? Excellent industrial/factory feel.
Great work drawing the feet and legs - they look very stable and solidly planted in the ground. Though I get nagged by the feeling that there's one missing at the back, but this could be a six-legged machine.
Great stuff as usual, 47! Love all your steampunk works!

Ha ha, I wondered about that possibility.
I guess I just feel like that adds a lot of 'story' to the picture!Β I know you love environments.

sweet-suzume In reply to 47ness [2013-12-07 20:02:57 +0000 UTC]
I guess it depends on what kind of love you want to teach...Β I love looking at environments, but I don't think I'll ever like drawing them that much.
Ha ha, I'll look.

47ness In reply to sweet-suzume [2013-12-07 21:01:53 +0000 UTC]
Yet you draw plenty of environments, especially on napkins. ^^ I guess out of an obligation to the characters within the drawing? ;Γ

Huh, well, I don't think about it too much when it's on a napkin!Β I'm not under an obligation to make those all that neat and accurate.Β That's probably sort of it?Β If they're a necessary part of a scene it's okay to draw them.

Awesome work! He look's like he could really stand his ground with that many legs! XD
I really like how you always manage to add in little details that are only noticed when you spend some time looking. In this case it's all the little extra cogs and the fella's working up on the balconies, it's nice! :3
