Description
It'd had been several days since Lin had talked, since she had lost her bending to Amon. Korra wasn't sure what to do about it, the woman she adored so much hadn't been herself since. Earlier that morning, after she had pulled on her boots and fixed her hair she went to check on the Ex-Chief. She had found her in a corner, tears welled up in her eyes."Lin...?"
Korra moved closer, sitting on her knees and looking to her.
"I... I can't do this anymore Korra. I can't take care of you. I don't feel like I can protect you anymore."
Korra had never thought she'd ever see Lin cry; she was so strong like the metal she'd used to bend. Offering Lin a small smile she moved closer, her fingers trailing into the mess of grey hair of the older woman.
"Then don't. You've done nothing but take care of me for the past few months. It's my turn now ok?"
Lin sniffed, looking up into Korra's eyes.
"You promise?"
Korra leaned in, giving the older woman a gentle kiss.
"I promise."
LIIINNNNN. Episode 10 gave me so many feelings. I just wanted to take Lin and hug her until she was all better. Apparently everyone else did too. I know she'll get her bending back but losing it would be so horrible. It was so much a part of her and what was left of her mother. So I drew a Korralin feels picture. I hope you like it!

Thanks so much! Korralin is actually pretty difficult to write for some reason; I blame the fact that the chances of something like it happening in real life are slim to none so it's difficult to get into that mindset that it could actually happen.
... but I want it to happen so badly haha.

It'd be turned into a Pg-13+ rated show if it was canon! Haha, you know Lin "breaks the rules" in the bedroom and it wouldn't be a kids show anymore.
... But it'd be so hot. xD I can definitely see it being canon in the sense that Lin likes Korra's go-get-em attitude and it meshes well with her stubbornness. They have lots of playful banter and Lin gets to show her softer more feminine side. Yes. It's my headcanon.

Ahh! Me too. Korralin for life! xD I think I ship pretty much anyone in that series with anyone else since the creators are so ambiguous with the relationships until the very end. Only person I can't ever see myself shipping is anyone with Tahno. But Korralin is my number 1 ship. Makes me sad it won't ever be canon because it would ruffle feathers.

D: And that's why we have fanart and fanfics!! I'm debating on writing the next chapter for my fic now, or to just wait until after the finale ends.
