I loved the multiple alignments of AD&D, but I sometimes had a hard time explaining them to some people. But Judge Dredd was always the personification of Lawful Neutral to me. (Some players thought "Lawful Neutral" meant the character had to stay neutral -- or they'd be arrested or something!)
