actually very few russian weapons have anything at all from german designs, maybe the reduced power cartridge idea. The Ak-47 is a very unique weapon system in fact

but the point of those cheap peaces of shit's is that there are millions of them and the standart operation was over run with wall of lead.

actually the Germans liked those "pieces of shit" the ppsh41 had a reputation among the Wermacht for 'never jamming' and the Tokarev SVT-40 was a trophy weapon among the Germans

I love the PPSh 41 and SVT 40 but never understood completely why the soviets didn't phase out the old Mosins for semi auto SVT 40's. don't get me wrong a well made Mosin Nagant is a cool rifle but the ones the soldiers had weren't well made. plus, bolt action or semi, which way do you really want to go

That means this picture includes an SVT-40, a Swedish BAR, a Sturmgewehr 1944, a Belgian BAR, and an 1891 Mosin Nagant rifle.

The machine gun on the right looks like a Polish WZ28 copy of the Browning Automatic Rifle- Its most certainly in the Browning BAR family and definitely not a Japanese Nambu Type 99
