So! Here it is, my new piece for the Zelda series and for Link's Blacklist
King Dodongo, in all it's hot glory!
Had a lot of fun with this one.
First image on my new Cintiq, and after the workshop in Canada. Hope you guys like it

Ocarina of Time was, and remains, my absolute favourite game of all time. Nothing has ever toppled it. I'm sure nostalgia's part of it, but either way, I've played it many many times, in N64, eShop and now 3DS variations and I never get sick of it. I've gotten quite good at the bosses too, thanks in part to the 3DS version's boss gauntlet. And one of those bosses is King Dodongo (see, tied it back to this picture 
Interestingly, your take here does have a passing resemblance to the Hyrule Warriors version.

I think that is the best dragon I've ever seen. Β I mean it's not over the top with scales and bump and things, just right, but gets the big bad dragon message across quite clearly. Β Love the lighting in the mouth and that tongue! Β Wow, really cool.

You did such an amazing job giving this piece a sense of movement. Β I'm so impressed by Link's pose, as well as King Dodongo's; it's like you can feel the swish of his tail.

Haha oops! Navi was blue - it was impossible to make her fit into the composition and not mess the visual flow lol. So I made the choice of leaving her out.
However, I will try harder to get her into the next ones

lol, just beat him on my 3DS yesterday.
I love the lighting in this piece. The yellow glow from King Dodongo's mouth and his eyes just draws you in. Beautiful work.
