And the goddess of wisdom has gotten suspicious.

She is considering the possibility that Persephone maybe was right.

Okay, this has been intense! And I pretty much enjoyed it. Love your grinning Persephone at last panel XD Β

Well, in either way it never worked out with Prometheus, and otherwise, Athene was never interested in anyone. 'Course, Heracles was able to free Prometheus eventually, but that is even further away than his punishment is.

Persephone never said anything about Prometheus. What made Athena angry was that she said that Zeus maybe was the father of her child. I first planned to let Persephone suggest that Athena was in love with Prometheus, but I never used that idea. Did you mix it up or did I just don't understand your comment?

Yes, I probably mixed it up. Thanks for clarifying this.

Yes, she appreciates to be left all alone a little now and then.

Persephone knows. She'll know that Zeus knows she knows. But she'll never say anything.

And Athena suspects. But she'll never say anything either.

And so the world turns.

Because of these things you don't speak (except with your flowers).

She's smarter than the average Goddess. But she's also strong in more ways than one, so she'll be able to handle it.

Yes, she will. But she won't like it.

Yes, they didn't call Athena the wise-grey eyed one for nothing. She probably suspects, as she doesn't see Zeus through rose tinted glasses.

Hera: You set your son up with a hooker?
Vanessa: Anyone else this would be a new low, but for you it's just a new middle.

I just realized Athena and Persephone sort of have the same nose. Well, they are related. I just never thought of it before.

A-gnosis In reply to palmcastle [2014-07-30 23:10:51 +0000 UTC]

Yes, their noses are quite similar. It's something I actually regret a bit, that I didn't give Persephone a different nose. But as you say, they are related so it's not strange that they have some similar features.

You'd never mix them up though.
