Description
A birthday present for my beloved . As always, this was painted entirely in Photoshop CS5.The hardest part was updating Squall's design to feature more detail whilst ensuring it still resembles him. No good references of him exist so I had to just wing it for the most part.
The Gunblade was painted from scratch too, although I must mention ~mogcaiz 's stunning renders which served as references for when I was painting it. You rock dude!
The zipper and chains were matted in while the Griever insignia was painted using photographs of the necklace from real life. The whole thing took many many hours. Trust me.

I'd have to say that all that hard work has definitely paid of. This is stunningly beautiful for sure~! All the detail from the Gunblade, to the jacket with that beautiful fur collar, and then to his eyes. Truly wonderful!
