If anyone's played the Dawnguard Expansion for Skyrim, they've fought alongside the frighteningly beautiful Serana. Just moments into the expansion, I was sure I wanted to paint her. And so I did.Painted in Photoshop CS5. Took longer than I had hoped it would.

I get the feeling that the dagger is supposed to be Bloodthorn. Cool re-design if so, but cool dagger design anyway if not. I've always liked particle effects of that nature, where energy appears to flow off the object.
Oh, and Serana is cool too.

Everything is goregous! I love the lighting, and spell details! I adore her focoused, yet pained expression, she always looked kind of upset about something. Poor Girl... Amazing Work!

This is utterly beautiful. I am in awe of this - all the details on her clothes, and on the dagger, and her spell, and the mountains... and everything. Her hand looks a bit big, but then I know absolutely nothing about perspective. A totally amazing piece of artwork - and an instant fave.
