Well, this attempt at being moody-as-balls is for Day 27 of EQD's ATG. And I decided to experiment with several things. Such as: copying my outline layer and applying a light blur for effect. I actually did this several times over to try and "layer" it. The hopes being it'd make it look more reflective, or dynamic or something. Which ever the outcome, I think it fit well.

Then to try and making it a little more darker I threw in a deep, dark red layer over everything, set it to Multiply, and adusted the opacity and played around with erasing parts. Copy this also a second time for layering, and make other areas more dramatic, and you get this.

The goal of which was to dress Rarity here up in a Medico della Peste like what is worn during Carnival in Venice. This mask being a call-back to the Beak Doctors of the 1600's and Doctor Charles de Lorme. Their existence is sort of an artistic and flashy "Memento Mori".

With this, might as well see how I can merge Rarity's fanciness and masquerade theme with the grim reminder that is the Beak Doctor's mask.
