Hey, I love the concept, and also the associated portraits.
Just a little question; any particular reason you went with K instead of C? Was it for aesthetic reasons, or was it just for simplicity's sake?

Nothing to criticize about the portraits themselves, here... just a few things I noticed -
1. Curufin - I don't quite understand why you placed him as last of Feanor's sons. It would be easy to move the Ambarussa to the right and put him between them and Caranthir, no?
2. Galadriel - first of all... I think the Shibboleth states that Nerwende is actually her mother-name. As you stated the father-names first for all others, maybe a small reversal is in order. Similarly, you may want to reverse the order of her epessi - no matter which story regarding her and Celeborn you go by, Alatárielle (the name being Telerin and therefore chronologically first) should be placed first, and the later Sindarin translation of that name second. As the meaning is the same, and both are epessi, I also think that both might look better placed in quotes...
Sorry if that sounded snobbish - it wasn't meant like that... I'm just in an extremely nitpicky mood right now. Sorry. *sheepish grin* I hope the suggestions make sense, at least.

Both these compilations (the previous and this one, yet unfinished) seem to me very Noldorin in spirit . Such portraits could have been drawn... by the Noldor themselves, they are so technically perfect ,full of details and lifelike, conveying the very essence of this Elvish people, their restlessnes, and courage and deep knowledge, as well as the personalities of Finwe's descendants.
But, at the same time, by their very form (rows of portraits in square frames with names written below), these drawings have reminded me of Soviet posters with the portraits of CPSU Politbiuro leaders lined up against red background (I'm old enough to remember them...). I meant no offence, it's just a joke, SORRY!

I'm much grateful for your swift reply to my humble remark ( and also eager to read your comments regarding my amateurish doodles, thank you in advance!).
At the same time,I'd like to explain some points. Maybe I was wrong to use such straigforwardly political terms, BUT MY COMMENT DID NOT REFER TO "ELVISH COMMUNISM", THEIR SOCIAL STRUCTURES OR POLITICS IN ANY WAY! Of course I know that Tolkien's Elvies lived in some ideal feudal kingdoms! I MEANT ONLY THE FORM OF THIS DRAWING (see the details I described in brackets),and tried to express my personal associations (or childhood memories) linked with it.
Perhaps, it is more fitting to call your projects "genealogy trees". They are really looking like family trees with portraits and heraldic shields that may have been executed by some Elvish loremaster...
