AaAAaaanndd Olympics go on
Damon also enters one discipline x)
with his hafling-mustang George XD

Damon saw half of the ride of Lyo and Nova before he was
called onto the track too. It gave him confidence to be there
with Lyo. They always tried to enter events together,
they could feel each other's mental support and also tried to show
each other who's better xD not only the other entrants.
It was always a nice competition between both.
Back at RPS Damon sent in his application for XC with a chuckle,
he couldnt believe he really starts with that mixed
Haflinger-Mustang stallion he bought at an almost unknown auction,
AT THE OLYMPICS.
But he surprised him always, each time he entered an event with him
he did wonderfully and placed outstanding except one time
in Australia. He decided not to enter with him evver again in
thaat hot weather and after such a logn journey.
But Czech Republic was close,
and George had the experience.
They galloped to the first obstackle,
and even tough he was no tall stallion he took it with much energy
and acted smoother with every step.
Damon enjoyed the challenging track a lot and pushed George
to a great speed just as Nova and Lyo.
He could almost see their "ghost picture" infront of them,
and tried to chase their record-time compared to the training at home.

Good God! Look at the determination on that little stallion's face! Wow! I've always been a fan of the expressions you're able to put on your horses without making them look like cartoons. George is an absolutely gorgeous guy. And I have the utmost amount of confidence in him competing in XC here. He is an incredibly well trained and meticulously disciplined horse. He is incredible stamina, and I think that you've portrayed that incredibly well in this piece.
What strikes me best of this picture is the raw power with which George is galloping into that water. I cannot for the life of me draw water, but holy crap if you're not freakin' amazing at it. The ripples behind his hind legs as they meet the tall grass and the waves highlighted out in front of him on the surface of the water are already far, far beyond my comprehension of creation as far as artwork goes. But the turmoil and motion of the water beneath him is absolutely breathtaking. The way that you brought up the dirt and mud from the surface of the ground up into the water is so damn realistic. You absolutely do not cease to amaze me! Good lord. I cannot praise you enough on the incredible amount of detail in the water right there. It is so perfect. So, so, so perfect.
The softness of the grass, the distant jump, the trees on the horizon and the crowd are all so flawless executed. You have an incredibly artistic eye. How you make a decision on where your focus should be is hard enough, but to then judged how that focus effects the rest of the picture can be insanely tricky. But you don't make it seem that way. You executed this so wonderfully. Your proportion of sky to land is appealing and so beautiful. The way that Damon and George are both looking out and towards their next jump is just flawless. I don't know how the heck you do it!
And Damon. Dear Jesus. He is PERFECT. I know that you know your horse anatomy is absolutely outstanding. And I know that I literally babble about how incredible your human skills are. But holy moly, Cursey. How in the world have you managed to capture human anatomy and physique so exactly, so flawless, so often? Damon's proportions are absolutely breathtakingly great. And I'll be darned if that right arm is not the most gorgeous arm I've seen in HArpg. ^^ lol Beautiful muscle tension and angling. His face is sooooo perfect! Even the weight of his dreds and their movement is incredibly well executed! And I love, love, LOVE his chaps. Wow. All those buttons. So militaristic and incredibly well drawn. Perfect respect for the weight of the fabric and the deepness of the creases.
Another absolutely gorgeous and insanely well composed piece. I think that RPS has dominated the Olympics as far as wonderful, wonderful execution of the atmosphere and tension. No one has made the Olympics feel as huge and pivotable as you have. Your artwork, your stories, your preparation... All of it. I hope that is all pays off and you take the gold.

Yes i love to play with different textures, such as water, fabrics, hair, they all have such an original way to get in motion xD
Your a woonderfull artist too and i rarely see that variety of poses in traditional art like you have ^^
