this is 8 years late lmao but I felt an urge to reply . Alter Real is not a breed, it's a line of the Lusitano horse breed. In the breed there are 4 families: Alter, CN, Veiga and Andrade. And Alter horses are bred to always be bay - therefore they only keep bay mares and stallions. Also, unless you're only open for Andalusians, please don't refer to Lusitanos (and Alter Real) as well as "Spanish breeds"...it's Portuguese, not Spanish.
Nonetheless, it would be nice to see this boy back in the game

true, sometimes greys and blacks are born (as in any other colour breed, sometimes "wrong" colours pop up), but they are not accepted in the Royal School, and most aren't even branded! trust me on this, i live right here where they're bred!
still, it's a very handsome stud, that's for sure!
