i just bought a very old wolverine skull. guy who cleaned the skull told me that the trapper said it had a grey muzzle. teeth are so worn down in places you can see the thin tube-thing where the nerves went. other teeth are worn right down TO the skull.
it's beautiful. i love skulls with unique things. and wolvie skulls have a "socket" for the jaws. O.o
you've inspired me, i may have to do stock photos of the interesting skulls i have.

I would think so, they're not sharp at all. I'm thinking she scavenged, gnawing on left over kill's bones wearing her side teeth down.

Thats very interesting. I have a raccoon skull with similar dental problems, both of its canines are worn to the bone, it has a lot of cavities to.
