Description
This is for Laura007 at NSHC-studio.net.The character belongs to Laura007. Charity is supposed to have glass-like skin showing muscle and bone underneath, and gossamer-type wings that tatter in the wind. She's a pure character, but came from a dark past.
I lost track of the hours put into it. This was a great opportunity to study equine anatomy; musculature and skeletal. Photoshop was kind to me in that combinations of filters and layer properties really made some of the hard parts easy, such as the glass skin and the gossamer-ish wings.

Wow, this is amazing, I almost thought it was a manip until I saw the category (although if you don't mind me asking, why did you choose anthro?). This is really inspiration for the plague horse I'll be drawing this summer. x3

Actually, it's a photomanipainting, so it combines aspects of photomanipulation and digital painting. When I submitted it, it was under mixed media - fantasy - original characters - digital , but it keeps reverting to anthro, no matter how many times I try to change it. I've noticed other animal images in the anthro category, so I assume it's a bug that's being looked into. Maybe I better report it just in case.

The thing I love about your pictures, Nova, is that it's entirely obvious the hours upon hours of labour you put into them. You seem to consider ALLLL the elements and you put them all together perfectly xD Seriously... how many people do you know that can make a glass horse look realistic? O_O
