Description My boy Swampert

Swampert are the Adult stage of the super cute and popular Mudkip, which in turn are an evolution from the mexican Axolotl. When the Great War was in it´s most fiercest stage, lots of nuclear bombs fell near Mexico (now known as Hoenn) and at it´s old Capital, the already endangered Axolotl saw it´s demise. Or so scientists all around the globe had thought.
Not long after the war ended, many sighings of Axolotl were reported in what was Mexico City (that in turn was an enormous lake). Although it was reported that these Axolotl were much bigger than previously registered, and presented a completely amphibian condition. Some were seen walking down in the lake shore for hours before having to return to the water. These animals had developed a pair of lungs in addition to their complex set of gills. These animals became known for burrying themselves in the mud, leaving only its head and tail fins as a decoy for hunting.

These Axolotl species was later named Mudkip.

Mudkip became as popular as their ancestors as pets, although as their population saw an unprecedented increase, this was allowed by the latest newly appointed President of the Hoenn Region. One can see why they were so popular. They are extremely intelligent and are able to understand a few words with just a couple of minutes of training. They can learn many tricks just a few days after birth, and are able to learn battle moves at as early as a month old. Mudkip have a very strong tail that helps them propel themselves on water and a semi-dorsal fin that helps them with navigation. They also possess from 3 to maximum 6 spikes that grow out of the sides of their heads, near their mouth. These thorn-like spikes work like snake fangs, they are hollow and inject a small amount of toxin upon contact, powerful enough to incapacitate creatures thrice their size. They grow small and razor-sharp teeth at 2 weeks old. Mudkip are known though, for their calm, though curious demeanor.

Many young trainers had to be taken to the hospital due to accidental intoxication, due to contact with the spines upon petting a Mudkip.

Mudkip go through an adolescent stage called Marshtomp, in which they become rebellious and stubborn. In this phase they start developing really strong muscles and their initial cartilage turns to bone, this process is very bothersome to them and thus they act in an unpredictable way. This is the most dangerous phase when training these Pokemon. The poisonous spikes grow longer and thicker, they also start to grow a more rugged skin, and bigger, strongr tails. In this phase one will often see them standing on their posterior limbs, imitating their trainers, although some scientists agree that they only do this because they think humans look funny walking in two feet, and so they are just making fun of their trainers.

At 36 months old they grow up in their longest phase, Swampert, that lasts for many many years (some reports have said that many Swampert have outlived their trainers). Swampert for some trainers is the perfect Pokemon. They are as strong as a Blastoise when it comes to wrestling, and have a fairly strong bitting force. But what makes them so popular among trainers is their almost human-like fighting style. A trainer can teach them many basic to advanced martial arts moves, with an 80% of success. Swampert developed through the years the ability of using opposable thumbs, which makes them perfect for fighting this way. A direct punch to the face from a Swampert can crush the skull of an average human. Although human vs Swampert cage fights were common in the past, it is now illegal and has been officially banned from the city.

Swampert are actually really patient and caring with their trainers and those around them, like family and friends. Their big brains make them an easily bored creature and thus they are always eager to help in everyday chores, like helping with supermarket bags or lifting heavy objects. Female Swampert go on heat every 3 months and need special care and breeding, they can die if this does not happen. Male Swampert tend to be mildly agressive for one to three days every three months due to the same thing. There are fan-clubs of Swampert trainers that are eager to help. Besides Mudkip are still sought for by little kids very much.

Few trainers have witnessed a fourth stage in the lives of their Swampert, funnily called "Mega Swampert". After years of battle and excercise, swampert develop bigger upper bodies and arms as thick as a Sudowoodo. They become a bit show-off-y and like fighting other Swampert whenever they get the chance, although, they seem to be less agressive in their breeding season, as opposed to Swampert.

In the wild, Male Swampert do not care for their tadpoles. Female Swampert (pictured) will fight to the death for their offspring. There have been many reported poacher deaths due to this situation, as Swampert eggs became a popular delicacy in other regions, like Kalos.

Swampert never know who´s  a good boy.
