──◊──┤ Description: ├──◊──

After three years of sewing plushies and learning quite a bit along the way, I’ve made this pattern available, (this is not an actual plush). It’s one of my slightly older patterns, but it was my first success at a decent rump after 8 tries. ^^

See the result here:

fav.me/d64kdjn

This pattern, (two PDF documents), includes a basic set of instructions on 4 pages and 4 pages of pattern pieces which include:
►Body pieces
►Head pieces
►Unicorn horn
►2 options for open pegasi wings
►Closed pegasi wings

This pattern is designed to work with minky fabric or any fabric with a similar stretch. Using different fabrics will likely yield different results. The instructions assume some basic knowledge of sewing, but the pattern itself isn’t particularly a beginner pattern. Nevertheless, I’ve made tutorials available to help with that!

The resulting plush size should be approximately 13-13.5" (33-34 cm) when the pattern is printed at 100% actual size.

H20/r, B21, UB18, E02 explained: ‘H’ = my head pattern, ‘B’ = body side, “UB” = underbelly and
under-legs, and ‘E’ = ear. Numbers represent the respective version of each, with ‘r’ being an improved revision for this pattern.

This pattern is my means of giving back, saying thanks, and helping to aid in the development of more patterns and plushies! ^^

──◊──┤ Materials and Tools: ├──◊──

Recommendations:
►A working sewing machine
►Hemostats (for stuffing)
►Quilt batting
►Poly pellets or some small gravel
►Insulated copper wire or hobby wire to support wings if necessary

Requirements:
►1/2 a yard of minky fabric (or similar preferred fabric)
►Polyester fiber fill stuffing (or preferred stuffing)
►Needle, thread, and pins. (Of course! ^_^)
►Fabric marker/pen

──◊──┤ Usage Policy: ├──◊──

You can use this pattern for unlimited personal purposes and/or limited commercial purposes, (limit of 60 plushies per calendar year). You can make alterations, modifications, and changes to this pattern for personal use. Credit given to me, Adam L. Humphreys, for use of this pattern, in part or whole, would be very much appreciated!

Any digitally downloaded documents, patterns, and files, (including but not limited to PDF files and embroidery files), may not be sold, reproduced, freely distributed, or used for production by a company, factory, or manufacturer.

I shall not be held liable for any injuries or damages incurred as a result of using this pattern or instructions. Just be careful and always use common sense.

An updated body pattern and associated stallion pattern, each with a raised front hoof alternative is in the works at the moment.

I was wondering how you make it wider without the middle one. This answers it XD

adamlhumphreys In reply to Happycraftsman [2015-11-07 23:47:13 +0000 UTC]

This is the first time I've done it this way, and it certainly worked.
It's hard to beat a gusset in terms of shape. At a smaller scale though, it's less relevant.

Happycraftsman In reply to adamlhumphreys [2015-11-07 23:57:23 +0000 UTC]

Ohhhhh. Is this easier? Than the other one

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

adamlhumphreys In reply to Happycraftsman [2015-11-08 01:29:33 +0000 UTC]

No, but as you can tell, the shape is better. H20r is still fairly easy though.

Happycraftsman In reply to adamlhumphreys [2015-11-08 01:30:40 +0000 UTC]

Ohhh ok h20r is the one with the middle part right?

adamlhumphreys In reply to Happycraftsman [2015-11-08 04:59:28 +0000 UTC]

No, the darts. The H20 is the original, just two pieces without darts.

I was sure hoping someone would like that!
Ahh, I hear you there. I remembers years back at my best friend's house, he said not to leave the hand towel open to dry, because the cats would lay on it. ^^

Hey, can i ask you something?
What kind of sewing machine are you using to sew the eyes and cutiemark?

adamlhumphreys In reply to Lillywork [2015-11-07 00:11:04 +0000 UTC]

Up to this point I've been using a Brother SE-400, but soon I'll be using a PE-770 exclusively (for embroidery). You check my tutorials for details.

Yeah, I looked him up. I used to think there was a certain method that one could follow to get popular, but in truth, it's hard to get around dumb luck. But I do realize that the more content you have, the better.

XD wooot thank you for permission to stare hahaha!
I'm determined. I might do this right after I shovel my last commission out the door..not sure because I have a person who said they wanted to commission, got price quotes, told me what they specifically wanted and when I asked them how they'd pay they stopped responding and it's been a couple days. o.O Not really sure what happened.

Congrats on that raffle too btw! Those winners will be really happy!

*edit* waaait. I just noticed! Your new icon is pretty sweet

Yay!
I hear ya. Well, sometimes people get busy, so I wouldn't fret just yet.

Well, with no money/points involved, I don't think it's technically a raffle, which goes against DA (changing?) rules.

Heheh, glad you like it!

CoffeeCupPup In reply to adamlhumphreys [2015-11-07 01:01:58 +0000 UTC]

Hahaha yeah, not just yet. Perhaps in a week I might start to worry if something happened to them but no exchange of money has happened yet so that's not a huge issue. Just a little blip in the normal sequence haha.

Mmmm true XD Idk, I still call them raffles but giveaway/raffle..yup.

Haha of course!
