Description The third experiment from my watercolor and pencil fling last week! Morgan and Nimri looking a little bit disheveled and sad, with some abstract watercolor trees and symbolism for effect. Though it may not be entirely cohesive, I had so much fun with it! I want that mossy cloak he's putting around her. The scanner murdered the colors and contrast somewhat, though...it abhors all shades of green. -_-;

Quite, quite lovely! I think a lot of people would enjoy this style from you, too, commission-wise. Try to experiment a little bit more with things you normally find around the house, like salt or straws to create different effects on paper. Also, you can vary your techniques and be creative with your style, like maybe flick your brush for that spatter effect, or blot with tissue papers to create a "glow". It's good that you're gaining interest (and skill, no doubt) in watercolours - it is a very versatile medium.
