Description
A very personal (and very green) painting of Faeren and a Healer character, who shall remain nameless. Whereas Faeren was condemned in "Forsaken " to solitude and a continual dependence on the Forest for his very existence, the Healer grants him a way of escape and the perilous chance at a new destiny. In short: the Healer's ability to channel energy from surrounding forests neutralizes the Mistress of Illusion's hold over Faeren for short periods of time so he can leave.You can learn more about Faeren and "The Wars of Avenan" storyline here: [link]
My last foray into realism of 2008, which signified the return of my artistic motivation. Many personal references were used for lighting and detail, and a lot of experimenting with overlaying colors and various brushes for the background.

Pictures with a preview of a story are so nice and refreshing~♪ There is great tenderness in this work, but also an almost shame in the way Faeren won't look at the healer as she touches his hand. Pictureds that I can keep looking at over and over are rare. I love this~♥

How can you stand doing all the details in your drawings lol I love when its finished but I really can not stand at all drawing all those leaves, hairs and stuff XD? any secrets to doing them well and or quick? or just very prersitant person

Heh, it takes a *lot* of patience...and a lot of passion for something to sit there for weeks on end painting details. I don't even know how I stand it sometimes. XD

Have you ever read the child thief? I think you would really enjoy it. The book is loosely based off of Peter pan. Whar Peter be like in really life and how would children who came with him actually deal. Peter tricks children into coming with him to his land only its dieing and they end up in a war goveibg there's lives for him
