This was one of the three final exam sketches I did for my Fashion Sketching II class. The design is not by me; unfortunately we were not allowed to design our own outfits. This is the only one of the three whos design I recall. This coat was a black coat designed by Bebe. I didn't feel like drawing it in black so I drew it in white instead
! We were allowed to change some stuff like the poses of our models, the colors of the garments. The final was mostly technical based showing figure proportion, colorability, and fabric drape.Media:

She's very tall and skinny because she is the 9-10 headed fashion figure. This was done on purpose and is not a proportion accident. 10 heads mean she is approximately 10 heads tall.

hm... its raelly really easy. just make a scale for the 9 heads figure. they have tutorials online already I think.

It was a lower tier course so we were still learning "to draw" and had to emulate stuff rather than create our own.

i had to do this picture for my art class (we had to go through magazines looking for clothing desings or something it was awhile ago). haha you definantly put mine to shame but its all good

I don't think I'll mind going back to school for fashion design if i was ever motivated enough to overcome my fear of a sewing machine. I do what little sewing I can with my hands, and my hands only.

Lovely. I used to draw fashion sketches like this years ago because I wanted to pursue a career in fashion. Brings back memories.
Bebe kind of owns my soul, unfortunately I have difficulty finding anything that fits me because I'm tiny but busty and the last time I was in one of their stores nothing wanted to fit properly and it made me sad. Their winter collection was sooo pretty.

Agreed. I can't afford it these days either. I just stare at the clothing from afar lamenting the fact that even if it did fit me, I couldn't afford it. The only place I do shop is Express because it fits me and my style and I have a charge card.
