Description
Just an overview of the Ground type in the same style as the overviews I made for my 4 fanmade types. Of course this features any type retcons as well as my adjustments of the strengths and weaknesses of the type in the context of a type chart featuring those 4 fanmade types.

With the new types, Ground would get a decent defensive buff, as it would resist Wind and Sound attacks.
The other big change is that Ground moves would no longer be nulified by the Flying type, but rather jsut resisted, due to how I would implement an entire airborne/grounded mechanic, with which every species of Pokemon is set to be either airborne or grounded, which determines whether they are affected by ground-targeted moves/effects or not (which are NOT based on typing. So an airborne Pkmn could get hit by Mud Shot, despite that being Ground-type move, but it could not be hit by Surf because that is a ground-targeted move).

In terms of retconned Pokemon, there's just some gaining Rubber (Gastrodon, Silicobra) and Claydol changing to Cosmic. Seismitoad is missing because it would instead become a Sound-type.
