"In October 2006, a monster sighting in my old neighborhood prompted me into yet another ill-advised investigation.

The witnesses - and there were many - spoke of a massive living, breathing monster that bore an uncanny resemblance to a house. A few witnesses also reported that the monster was destroyed - only to be reborn as the shambling mess seen in this sketch.

One man gave the monster the name "Domus Mactibilis", meaning "Monster House." Exactly what the monster was may never be known, but I decided to leave after a couple days. Somehow, I got the impression that the locals had just wrapped something up, and my intrustions would be ill-founded."

Reality Check: This is the half-destroyed house from the end of "Monster House", a 2006 motion-capture film. I do not own Monster House, rights go to Columbia Pictures, etc. etc. If you haven't seen this movie yet, I kinda gave away some of the ending. I'm sorry.
