Description
First environment project. All modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering (cameras, compositing, etc.) done by me. Perhaps the most valuable lesson learned on this project is "create things according to the shot"!So many hours were lost by struggling over things.. but luckily I was able to figure out some tricks that saved me greater headaches. Still had to sleep under the desks though... 19 nights in a month!? yeah..

it was my idea ^_^ - ive always been fascinated by underwater glow things, so my version of atlantis HAD to have these guys!

haha - ive got a friend that also has a phobia of jellyfish. she said it was because of the movie "sphere".. if you feel like being creeped out, theres a cool little jellyfish scene in that movie haha ^_^

LOL yeah I remember Sphere,... yup creepy indeed. YOu know, sometimes you just can't see the buggers and I've got this insane phobia of swimming into like a whole school of them.... that'd be the end you know. Ha, screw sharks... I could like dodge and out manuever them if I was quick enough (probably not) but jellyfish you can't do nothing about them.

I love your creativity in using aquatic building materials throughout the environment. They jellyfish light is definitely a winner. It creates such an elegant point of visual interest when it appears in any of your renderings.
