Another great Mia shot!
I love the choreography of this shot. She seems like a model who is easy to pose. This shot is marvelous. Love the effect it creates!

I actually enjoyed this one, I think the lighting works but that didn't even cross my mind till I read your comments. I was more enjoying the difference in the model and her reflection and that the window frame shadow is just cool looking.

Wpwwwwww... At first, I couldn't quite get the blurred Mia to the right. Didn't take too long to click & the image just popped out at me. Great work!

I also like that type of photos, with multiple light sources. But since I never used stereo vision (depth of feild, due to the bad angle of eyes), I see real world through perspective, so pictures are not much different.
I remember in art class in school, while teaching perspective drawing, they used all sorts of tools in order to reflect 3D on 2D. I always had perfect score in it, and never used any tools to learn, because that comes naturaly for me since birth. However, when using paint, I always destroyed my drawings, to the point when one day, teacher told me: "Don't paint, just use shading" (because I always loved to use shading technique, and always done that, far before that technique was in class).
I never learned to paint well .

No, no, no! Your lighting is superb, especially with mixing different colors of light. People who complain are probable just looking to see a set of 'Die Mopse'. DA has plenty of that for them. Just ignore them. ^_^

Different. Old fashioned, if you will. Her skin has an almost metallic look to it. And it's MIA for sure. Like it.

Its intended by the artist, though.

I thin kit's very nice. Not all pictures should be fully lit. It conveys the artists idea in a more natural lighting.

I saw it at first as a keyhole too. As to the lighting, Stefan has pointed out in the past that the colors can be much richer as well.
Lovely photograph, as always.

My first impression was that i was looking through a keyhole. I don't know why anyone would object to dim lighting in an intimate photograph. This one is great, with Mia admiring her own reflection. Who can blame her for that?

Your experiments with light is why I started watching your gallery.

People might be complaining only because of the grainy results the low lighting provides.
But I think this gives off a fascinating retro 70's magazine effect, almost as if you transported this moment back in time.
