No I'm afraid not. Pity. I like the Viper but I prefer this design. Would've been nice to see it in the better show.

I like both designs.
Compared to this one the viper looks a bit more conservative imo.
This ones side view looks amazing, but i guess the producers didn't like the overal design because it is pretty wide.
I always wondered why they always only had one type of spacefighter in BSG and other shows.

As far as I know it was. That was a long time ago, and I could be remembering it wrong.

Was better on Buck Rogers anyway. Same writers/producers but Buck Rogers had a slightly better effects budget. Buck Rogers was on NBC (who spent more money on it) and the original Battlestar Galactica was on ABC, who didn't spend as much on the show's effects as NBC did with the other show.
