Description At last! I'm slowly beginning an update of all my alien species references. The sunifee were the first ones; they've been around for ten years now, and have a lot of development. The entire Federation universe has gotten a lot of work recently, and this is a better way for me to write things down. So, hopefully there will be more!

COMMENT TIME SUNIFEE TIME. ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ

This is so, so awesome! I wasn't anticipating that you'd update these so soon, so it caught me way off guard and I still can't believe how beautiful it is. What a wonderful step up from the old sheet! Let's break it down shall we?

You covered so many more bases in this one, which is great because some of the most defining-- and most alien-- features weren't in the previous version. I'm loving the star and planet map, and all of the stylized illustrations. These helped ground me in the sunifee world. It gives us a great look at them, just as important as the main body illustration in my opinions. Species building should be about culture and them as people, and you nailed it here.

The reproduction and family life section is super important, and I like how you presented this one! How ironic that they're rough, rough, and long-lived but suffer when it comes to reproduction. Every species needs a weakness, just like characters, and I love the sunifee's weak spot. Poor babies...
(Also poor males! I remember discussing the social aspect of sunifee sex. "BOY GET OVER HERE!!!". Hahaha, my kinda gals!)

The sheet looks great, by the way! The colors are nice and I like your use of sections and white text to highlight important tidbits. I was about to suggest you use normal casing and change the font to something softer, but the font actually fits them-- hard and VERY VERY UPPER CASE DON'T MESS. For the other species sheets, you may want to use a "gentler" font!

Ach I'm rambling, sorry Aeden I can't control myself. Superb reference sheet, very informative and unique and I love how your education resounds in your work. They've come quite a long way, and years later I'm still amazed. Grade-A work! <33

I questioned the font at first, but it does seem to fit them. I'll try to find equally-fitting (while still being legible) fonts for the others.

I wasn't expecting to get this done so soon either! But school starts in a week, and I'm not going to have time for ANYTHING once that happens. So this is probably the last thing you'll see from me for the next couple months :b I like their art style; it fits them well. They're such big, blocky people, and they're really not known for their fine taste in the arts! Hehe, the planet map was *supposed* to just be a simple little political map, but nooooooo. I've been needing to map out planets for awhile, but that got just a bit out of hand (how shocking, I know).

Reproduction has gotten a lot easier with the development of c-sections, but most females choose not to do that unless there's an immediate danger to them. If there's danger to the baby, well that's ok. They'll watch out for themselves first every time. Probably goes with the whole lack of parental instinct. You can always breed another baby :b Friend and I were discussing the social aspect of the harems. Some females live with their harem, and it's a comfortable household, while others just show up for an orgy every once in awhile :b

The highlights of white text were a great suggestion you gave! I think I'm getting better at making my sheets visually better and easier to read. It's possible I spent a couple hours looking back over yours for ideas >_>

Oh no, school starts again soon? Aii! Well at least you got this baby done, one big update is better than none at all. My fingers are crossed that your lecturing goes well; I'm still so proud of you for nabbing that position, how awesome!

I really like their art style. I can see them as not liking art at all, and whenever they do it it's blocky and maybe even minimalistic-- they don't like aesthetics as much as they do "rigidness", if this makes any sense. On the flipside there are the erda, who do everything with a bit of an artistic flair. Hahaha. Hahaha, love the orgy thing! I'm guessing this is a matter of culture, and that certain countries have different ways of handling the harem behavior. I'm still diggin' how you handled gender here! Many sci-fi writers think "oh I'll jut reverse the gender roles!", but this can go very wrong very fast. You did excellent with the sunifee!

Aww man, hey you can ogle my refs all you want because I do the same with yours. Hell yeah for co-inspiration!

I forget these guys/gals/...guys? Have been around that long. They are quite cool and it's awesome to keep learning more in depth about them. They seem so strong and solid (mostly the ladies but yea). Baby quadrupeding is obnoxiously cute
