I have no idea what I intended when I sat down to draw, but it wasn't this. This whole thing was a massive experiment; the background especially was all new experiments. It was done with the help of this tutorial and these brushes . I tried a different kind of painting on the Lock. I succeeded on the face, but I have no idea how I did it. I kept overdoing it, so I just left it at faint highlights.
