Nothing more relaxing than a pencil in your hand, a mug of hot wine with spices and some good music, all together make miracles.This one was made with Gimp, I have no idea how many hours it took. I think this character looks definitely the best with warm light and tones of yellow and brown, so the palette looks quite similar like with the first drawing of Fili.

I feel guilty about your obsession a bit, but what can I say... I'm actually happy about that!
About the Gimp, I would rather recommend Photoshop. Gimp is not that much designed for drawings and stuff, this time I had some technical difficulties, so I was kinda forced to used it, but in general I prefer PS.

I use more Photoshop too. I am more conversant to the interface, tools etc. Gimp seems to be a little bit more simple.
Yeah, I need more time. These next months I'll be a little eventful with my things at university (the final months!), so I'll cannot dedicate myself so much (maybe in the classes... haha)... but I'll try!

I'm preparing myself for some time now to draw Thorin. Actually, wanted to do it before the last Fili, but it didn't work somehow. The mystical *poof* happend again and it turned out to be another Fili drawing.
Maybe somewhere deep inside me I'm afariad that if I create Thorin's image, my brain will replace my perfect man image and instead of a light-eyed blonde with axes (yes, my type! - with emphasis on axes

Thanks for the tips, I'll draw him with the eyes closed, hehe. But seriously I already have some doodling done, so maybe it will turn into something nice. This week I have some much work though, I don't know if it won't be ready until the next one. But hereby I declare, sooner or later, I'll draw Thorin the Majestic Stare for you!
