Beautiful "shot" - which is what I often consider fractals! I like your use of a monotone palette to convey a grand and universal theme. Super shiny archi-shapes with clouds slipping behind - what could be more perfect! Fave!

Quite possibly one of the best fractals I've ever seen (I was surprised to learn that the clouds weren't PS-ed). The repetition backing off into negative space is really eye-catching and your color scheme works very well in this piece. Personally, I think a black border would have worked fine. Would love to see this as a print/bigger piece (even though I can't quite afford it ^_^). Is this a cropped version, or did you make your canvas taller than it was wide ('cuz this one'd look really nice as a desktop background or something as well)?

I like the gun-metal against the sky. It really works well
However, there are a few spots where it looks like the sky shows through the metal framing? There is a spot on the bottom that especially sticks out...
I don't know if that was intentional, but, IMHO, maybe you could have used an extra masking layer on the cloud layer(s) so that the sky background doesn't show through the gun-metal slats...just a small suggestion
Otherwise, it's a great image!

Thanks, that was all part of the illusion. It creates a scene that defies clear explanation, adding to the depth.

What can one say about perfection? Most impressive design! Until I read the description, I thought is was a pic. The quality of lighting and reflectivity are simply stunning. Supremely done, Jeff!
