Description Major case of insomnia, so I decided to finish this. It's a colab with from his new frac pack [link] This was the first in the pack, Red Blossom. Decided to winterize it instead. Might have a couple more from this file, it's a good one to work with.

This reminds me of the end of Dante's Divine Comedy, where he reaches the uppermost part of heaven, which is configured like a rose with all the teared hosts of angels. Once again, quite gorgeous !

N/Prob! The Comedy is a good read - lots of interesting symbology and imagery. I recommend it.

I used to make most of my work in the small hours of the morning. Felt great to get back in that mode and let the brain create uninhibited.

I really like the colors, and the general design, but there almost seem to be too many details to really appreciate the pattern, once again this is just my opinion, and I tend to like simplicity, rather than mass amounts of detail that just tend to distract the eye, without alowing it to focus on anything, but once again, thats just my opinion.

glad that I could be of any help.
by the way, one of the things that you are doing much better (in my opinion) than some other artists that I have seen useing the same program, is colors. Instead of trying to use every color that there is, and to overuse them to the point of gaudiness. You are much more simplistic in your use of color and I find it much nicer.

Thanks, Eddie. People see different things, but I saw the ice also. Parts are almost clear, and others white, like a block of ice that has been partially worked on. Appreciate the feedback on this.

WHOA. The detailing and color on that is fantastic. I like the rounded shapes. It doesn't look like a winter creatuer to me as much as it does a diamond inlay arrangement. Like a blue diamond in the center, and white ones all around it. (So the Hope Diamond stuck in my mind when I saw this. Sue me, lol.)

Thank you. I used to make a lot of my works in the early hours of the morning, but I've gotten away from that. It was good to be up early again to finish this project. I promised MelonLogic I would use one from his pack, so I wanted to make sure to put extra effort into it. Guess yielding a diamond was confirmation of that.
