We watched that every Halloween at my house. My dad really liked Washington Irving and just LOVED this version of the story. 

Now that I'm grown up, I agree with him. I've read the short story and this is easily the best adaptation they've ever done. 

I've revived the habit of watching it each Halloween, and I'll be doing so again this year. Or the next time I have some weed-- Disney movies are one of my favorite things to watch when I'm baked!
