Hahaha! Finally after like a week of woking on this It's done!
Ok, so to explain what the frak is going on... Let me first explain that this is for a contest for making a DW (OC) villain from .
Right, so now to explain the pic/villain bit...
So for those of you who have been reading my OC series this is a bit of a tease for my future story in my OC series (First part here: aerindarkwater.deviantart.com/…), "Haunted Mirrors." (And lookie! This is the first time I have gotten to draw/color Holly! MAwahaha she's awesome, kidnapped by a mirror alien and the Doctor doesn't notice a thing,..but it's nice to finally draw her out of my head.)
Anywho, the villians are a race of Crisaldrychians, which roughly translates to "crystal mirror" in Welsh (crisial drych). They are a race that has litterally been trapped/exiled to a world that exists only in mirrored or reflective surfaces. Over the countless genertaions of living in this backwards releaity until one day one of their own found a means to escape through a mirror and found himself in an abondoned old Southern mansion (possibly US, still debating that detail).
The aliens themselves are cystaline creatures, or silicone based lifeform, and they can change to any form that they can reflect. Basically, if you were standing in front of a mirror, how can you tell that it is really your reflection? It could possibly be a Crisaldrchian that is minicing your reflection in order to trick you into touch the mirror so they can drag you into their world. That is the sercet to their escape, they must get you into their world, so they they can escape into our world. However, there are ways of knowing if their is a Crisaldrchian on the lose, they do everything backwards. They can copy everything about you and your habits or manorisms, like writing left handed, talking a certain way or whatever, but they can only do it backwards. Meaning, if you're a lefty, their are a righty. If you part your hair on a certain side, they do it on the other side, just like a mirror. Also another really obvious thing to look out for is that they talk backwards. A bit hard to give an example, but just think of recording something like "hey, what's up?" and then play it backwards, you'll get "pu zztaw, yea" or something like that if you spell it phonetically.
Yea.. Creating this alien/villan race was fun.. makes your head spin in circles trying to think of everything backwards.... sigh..... It's still cool 
So... influnces for the alien came from DW "Hand of Fear" of Eldrad's race Kastrian, which were also crystaline/ silicone lifeforms. The influnce o talking backwards came from one of the newer DW books, "Nuclear Time" (which by the way, if you like timey whimey, it's a really good read. The Doctor starts living backwards in time while Amy and Rory are stuck in an active atomic bomb testing site.)

Aw.. sorry about that (the no sleep thing), but thanks for the comment. Now that I think of it, I don't have any mirrors in my room. Well, one wall mirror, but it's covered up with a pile of stuff. lol. Maybe if you leave cookie out the mirror people will leave you alone.

Great. as if I wasn't scared enough after watching the movie 'Mirrors', Now I have to worry about crystal aliens whilst pissing.

lol. Yea.... And the thing that sucks is that after I designed these creatures and went into my bathroom and one side of the wall is full of mirrors. I was like, crap. Never heard of that movie before, maybe I'll have to look for it. Is it a gorey horror or jsut a spooky movie.

It came out about five or six years ago around the same time as 'Hellboy, The Golden Army'.
There was this one really gory scene where the main characters sister gets her lower jaw ripped off whilst in the bathtub, but I don't really remember any others.

Yea, next time you are looking in the bathroom mirror, keep a look out in case you reflection decides to wink at you. Maybe it's just me, but I get a strange feeling looking at myself in the mirror,like it's a different me, or a thing not me but looks like me. Maybe I''m just psyhcing myself out. >.<
I love the weeping angels.. when they aren't around. There's a marble angel at my church and one day it move to a different part of the garden. Totally freaked me and my brother out. Now we walk by it while keeping our eyes on it.

I'm really looking forward to this story too! It looks and sounds amazing, very original and clever.
And I've read that book! Oh, it's brilliant, very timey-wimey and so funny. Nice to know it gave you inspiration.
I only wish there were some way to give Moffat this idea... I'd love to see it played out, but what can you do? Reading is way better than nothing.

Everyone keeps posting that I need to give this idea to Moffat. You guys are great, but I'm uber shy even about tweeting a message to him. What would I say that wouldn't make me sound like a crazy fangirl? Aw well. I'm half way on my 3rd story and my co-writer is 2/3 done on story 4 (which then I will edit and spiff it up a bit, he's not good writing in a narrortive form. He writes sort of like a script then hands it to me to add in the narrortive voice and flowery language).

You're lucky to get the books in your library, I have to buy online or at very linited stores, which just got more limited because some of them closed up for good. Grr... My library is strange, they got all of the reboot DW dvds but zero books. Aw well, dvds or awesome.
