Woot! I finally got another desktop done. This one is a bit more elaborate than the last few. It's the villians from the new series Season 1. Some were not really "villians", but heck, I put them in anyway casue they were the creature(s) of that certain episode.Photoshop CS3 +wacom+ tons of reference to look at (NOT COPIED! Never copy, it's bad. I just looked at the image and painted it

What?! Really? A new outfit you say! Aw... But I his outfit. lol. I just kind of gotten use to it. I'm sure new, old, and really old monsters and creatures will show up. I just got the recent monster guide to the DW universe and it covers from Doctor 1-10 (11 too new for the guide). And the book shows concept art and how they made the mechanics of some of the creatures. Really cool stuff.

If I watch the Vashta Nirada episodes before bed, I can't sleep. :scare: The Cybermen scare me pretty bad, too...My friend showed me the Empty Child, and it was pretty scary!!

I think the Vasshta Nirade are wicked cool! Hmm. the idea of being emotionless is the scary thing about the Cybermen, but them theyselves, not so much. Hmm. Now that I think of it, the scariest creature to me of the new shows is... the Midnight creature. 1) you never actually see it, 2) Creepy as heck that people mimic you, but then to actaully say what you're going to say before you say it and THEN stealing you voice!!! That's the scariest thing. The Empty Child comes after that. lol.

Yeah, Midnight was a scary one, but it was done very well...almost reminiscent of a Twilight Zone episode or something.
What freaked me out about the Cybermen was all the removing your brain stuff...*shudder* I watched a Doctor who with Cybermen from the 80s and they weren't scary, but in the new one, they emphasize the whole rip your brain out bit.
