Not so pure Daleks... pretty much explains for itself. rofl. This was pretty much my reaction to the new Daleks. I thought they were power rangers themed or something. (Not that I'm saying I don't like them, I do.. ish. Still prefer the RTD bronze types, but that is my opinion.)Anyways... this is my contest peice for the "First contest" in the Dalek group.
Skittles Dalek is my favorite.
PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT OR RANT ABOUT HOW YOU LIKE/DISLIKE THE NEW DALEKS ON THE SHOW! THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!!! COMMENT ON THE ART ONLY! I will start hiding your comments, I'm tried of answering them if they don't relate to the art.

This is absolutely hilarious! I see this the day after I bought this blue plush Dalek from Barnes and Nobel. The one I bought was a bit deformed compared to the few others on the shelf. His head a bit warped, his eye stalk a bit fatter than the others to choose from and he's slumped over on one side and a twisted plunger. The only thing about him that is straight and not warped is his gun. Would love to see a deformed Dalek on the show that didn't come out right on the "assembly line". LOL! I love the Power Ranger one and the Ipod one is pretty hilarious. Did those two Daleks leave their toys in the machine?

OH! *facepalm* I watched that ep from the classics but never saw their written, only heard from the show (thought they were spell like Thel in my mind). Your comment just cause me off guard and I didn't think it was a reference to them. For some reason I just assumed you spell hell wrong XD. Now I feel bad. As a whovian I should have known. I do like the classics though

I don't mind, after the initial shock of the colors, I like the colors.... just hate the hump on their back... (Mofat's fault, Mark G, the writer of that ep doesn't like the either, he said so in his interview in the DWM (doctor who magazine).)

Yeah, I really liked the RDT Daleks, nice copper and broze theme. But at least the colors of the new ones mean something, not just random.

True - but somehow it's a bit difficult to be scared of something that looks so...well...silly. Not exactly a 'hide behind the sofa' enemy. Extermination by mirth just isn't the same thing
