Wrong In All The Right Ways:Dancing Mom
This is the first in a new series I am working on, Wrong In All The Right Ways, that was inspired by P!nks song Raise Your Glass. I am not sure how far I will take this series but there at least several key pieces I want to complete. This is just the first.
Why this one? Because this one touches home a lot closer to me than many others might. I, many years ago, was an Erotic Dancer. I was a young mother, early twenties but other than that stereo type I wasn't the usual thought that came along. I was a college educated, well paid restaurant manager that was married. So why? I wanted to. Simple as that. Nothing more, nothing less.
I was not ashamed of it then and I am not ashamed of it now. It was something I did. It paid well and personally never felt I was being used or that I was doing anything wrong. Some people would disagree, some will. I don't care. What I did for a living had nothing to do with the way I took care of my child. I took care of my child. I loved my baby and my baby was and even growing up, still is to this day. A profession is not the mark of a good parent, the child is. With that being the case I can safely sit back and smile knowing I am in fact a good parent.
So, this one is for all the mothers and fathers that are in professions that people might sneer at or look down upon. You maybe wrong, but you are wrong in all the right ways. I raise this first glass to you.

the baby's look is somewhat intense. Not to be hating on it, I really love the tattoos and Pink is just awesome, but the look is just intense and kinda scares me. Other than that (I am sure it came out mean and that was not intended) I love the woman's hair and tattoos and it just beautiful.

No, I get what you are saying and you are right. This is a first for me working with a baby in scene. As you can see I am not near as good at children as I am at adult women. LOL (Granted that combined with the fact the babies expression is kind of like my youngest sons didn't help. He does this extreme smiles. Like Wednesday Adams. lol ^^)

Lovely render. And I agree with what you said. Always find it appalling that some people have no problem with letting their kids watch bloody, violent shoot-em-up movies & games, but go crazy over the idea of people being *gasp!* NAKED. Good grief, we're ALL naked under our clothes -- we were all born that way! The human body isn't something to be ashamed of. Human JUDGMENT, on the other hand, may well be shameful.

You are right it isn't something to be ashamed about I think it's wonderful to have such a mature look at life and what we have done in our pasts, there are too many prudes and stuck in the old ways people out there. Me I have gone from a broken child, to a mum who loves her little ones and tries to help them see there dreams and try and achieve this.
I love this render as it speaks in so many levels to me, the baby in her arms she protects and looks at with love, and how the detail shows the art of her body and what she maybe did before her beautiful bundle of joy came. A beautiful and very stunning piece
