A birdie!Thank you !diredragon for the idea. I asked earlier in my journal what could I draw and she said I could try birds. So here is the result!

Neat! Love the colors. You might want to make the background a bit lighter because it is almost the same color as some of the greens on the bird so it starts to blend in in certain areas.

I see what do you mean but I made the background dark green on purpose: I tried to create an impression that bird is attacking something suddenly - the victim can't notice it until it is too late.

When I look at this thing I see a cross between a parrot and a phoenix.
Its got the colors I normally would associate with a parrot, but the overall physical shape I would normally associate with a phoenix.

I wanted to draw a phoenix but because I'm not used to draw birds I decided to start with somekind of uncategorized fantasy bird. But there will be a picture of phoenix when I have enough courage to try it!

As with a dragon, a phoenix can look like whatever the artist chooses, so I'm sure it will be good.
