These carousel horses are so much fun to draw so that I couldn't resist drawing also my precious Qwinia as one of those.Of course her theme had to be something royal-ish.

the big fur covered hooves make me thing of the Budweiser (as in the american beer) Clydesdales. dunno if your familiar with them, but it's been part of the brewery's identity and symbolism for decades, probably a century! those horses are incredibly beautiful and powerful looking.

This breed (Cavitto) is supposed to be huge and fluffy so comparing them to Clydesdales is very fitting.

This is gorgeous, I love how all the yellow/golden parts came out. Very eye-catching drawing.
I have to say, the fact that Qwinia has one black foot makes her look all the more interesting as a carousel design to me, I don't know if I've seen this sort of gorgeous asymmetry in carved carousel designs, and that's a shame, because it adds a certain realism and visual interest. Beautiful design!

I must admit that felt an urge to make her design symmetrical but then I just thought that I want to stay loyal to original design and left one of her foot black as it should be.

I am really glad you like the background; I kinda feel lazy not painting proper backgrounds but just placing my textures there...

Sometimes a great texture is all the background you need!
