Likes: His sister Laureli, his homes above and below water, the Elvish kingdom and Merfolk empire, Ramesses, Ageaus, Arayna, Epiaruna and Most of the merfolk he’s met so far, the various places he’s been since his transformation, fish, sinking pirate ships and his new, culture, body, religion and lifestyle (after thinking long and hard about it).

Dislikes: Pirates, thieves, Raiden and his followers, being parted by species form his sister.

Personality: He is a very gentle natured person, and he is always loyal and determined. Alpheus will never wrong a lady, and he is polite and respectful to all people regardless of faith or species. He doesn’t enjoy destruction or war, but he will fight for his honor and his country dutifully and forcefully. He bows respectfully to all of the royal and governmental families across Helios and he always brings a gift back for Epiaruna, as custom. He always brings a gift back for Aranya but he never gives to her in person, as he gets tongue-tied easily.

History: Alpheus’s Life was normal prior to his meeting with Raiden. He was an elvish paladin in the Army of Artemis, and along with his Huntress sister Laureli they were well respected and well thought of in his community. When he found himself battling in another land at the bequest of a solider, he thought it would be a nice change from hunting down temple and church thieves.

He was sure going to get a change and not limited to the scenery. He, his sister and their small band could not stop the attack of Raiden the following night. A companion they met Agustonelli, was knocked unconscious and Raiden then left the man to wake up as a griffin alone. Alpheus heard a scream and grabbed his sword. He ran to the fray and met Raiden on the field of battle.

He did not know of the power Raiden’s dagger held, and perhaps that knowledge could have spared him. Her engaged Raiden for over an hour, before Raiden grabbed his sword out of Alpheus’s hands and cleft it into a ragged dagger, he throw it back after stabbing Alpheus in the arm with one of his body spikes. Alpheus dazed and confused, holding a dagger was no match at all. Raiden pushed him backwards into the small lake.

It didn’t take long for the change to happen, before he knew it Alpheus the elf had been replaced by Alpheus the merfolk. He after Raiden was put down he embraced merfolk culture with open arms rather then shrinking from it and whining about his glory lost, and after a while he became accustomed to the underwater life. He fell in love with a mermaid, but kept his intentions secret, his being a freetail and her being a natural born mermaid.

He fought well in the wars the ocean was fated to be in, and he helps curb piracy, or guard the Archives of Boreas. The Island of Cypress, now a toxic and poisoned environment was given to Alpheus, and he restored it to its original glory. After Cleaning the island it became under the protection of both the forest and the ocean. And both Ageaus and Ramesses recognized him as the leader of the island bestowing the title of Duke to him over it and the underwater province.

Relations: He is a twin sister named Laureli, he is in love with Arayna, but he keeps his intentions for the most part a secret.

Faults: He is not a faulted person, he has no arrogance to speak of, as far as weakness, it might be his inability to face the people he originally knew. But his true weakness is talking to girls he is “crushing on ” is next to impossible. His shyness almost costs it with Arayna, who thinks nobody likes her.

Weapons: he hold s two weapons, the first is his own sword formerly an Elven flatsword. In his struggle against Raiden his sword was torn to shreds and it became effectively a long dagger. After his transformation, capture and final liberation, his sword was bestowed with water powers, as well as earth powers, and given a new case for it. Now he calls it the Roar of Cypress, and it has the combination of water and earth, like him flowing through it. His second sword is Paroceanican Rapier, given to him by Ageaus, when he became a citizen of the Aquarius Empire. The sword is long sea-steel blade ending in an ornate golden coral cutlass style handle. Despite it’s looks it is not fragile at all, and it can conduct both water and earth energies like his dagger if he needs to.

Power/ Forms: After his transformation, his body is locked for any further changes. He cannot be transformed by any outside forces, into anything. (And from turning back to normal as well) As for power, he has the power of water and earth under his control. His abilities with earth includes a considerable control over both the organic and inorganic, and with water it entails the manipulation of water, and modest power over currents and tides.
