I adjusted the camera and snapped. "Okay, got it."
"Damnit... you took too long! Sitting here in the sun... is anyone around?"
I shook my head. "I think we're okay."
"I'll get you for this. Did you at least turn off the camera?"
"Uh, sure."
"You know I hate it when you photograph me like this."
"Yeah, I know, but Michelle, you're so damn photogenic."
"Shall I run over you now, or wait until we get back to Minnesota?"
"You can punch me later." I turned off the camera. "Hey, you'll love how these turned out."
"Leave that LCD screen off! Don't show them to anyone. You know better."
...
At last, I consider this sequence finished. Two artists, a lot of coloring work, and though I may not have it finished as well as I would like - there's a lot of linework I could've done on Michelle's hair in the third panel - it's as done as it's going to get.
And about blinking time at that.
For the record, I especially give my thanks to for the completion. That first artist? Yeah, he got the ball rolling, but was too unprofessional to finish it. The moral of this story? If you don't think you'll be able to finish what you started, don't start.
Nice to complete stuff once in awhile.

You should really read my stories. I guess I'm a fan, though I can't draw about the show I can certainly write about it.

I'll think about it. From my experience in various fandoms, stories with added author-original characters rarely work out very well - not trying to slight your writing before I've seen it, mind you, just saying the stuff I've seen from others so far doesn't reflect too well on the genre's overall quality... the adage of "90% of everything is crap" comes to mind.
