I love that style of lineart - there just doesn't seem to be enough use of it in fantasy illustrations these days. And Annet's looking good - if rather unrealistically proportioned around the waist and chest. I wonder who the enemy is she seems to expect...

Thanks!
I dunno... Demon Harboring 1920s Gangsters? Hahaha... oh man that game was just awkward sometimes.

I prefer her outfit she wears in Annet Futatabi though.
Speaking of awkwardness - lots of games back then were weird. El Viento reminds me of Natsume's Power Blade. So there's alien invasion and the supercomputer which rules the Earth is corrupted. They send an army to reclaim it? Do they nuke it? No, they send a Duke Nukem lookalike who throws sharpened boomerangs (hence the title) at invaders and eventually saves the day.
Or KID's Kickmaster - you are a martial artist, in a medieval fantasy setting. Take that karate kick, undead ones! But there's certain awesomeness in such ridiculous premises. This is why I like old games haha.

Annet, cute but dangerous. Gotta admire that in a girl.

Yep, The Sequel is more of a Brawler and she walks around in a mini skirt. Cool, you're from Peru- Thank you!
I am just happy to draw art for the game.

Extremely lovely rendition of Annet (and I'm quite an EV-series fan). The detail you put into these is amazing. ^^

The inticate work you put into the masonry really pops out.

I've never played El Viento, but the concept looks pretty cool! I probably should have picked it up when I saw a copy of it last year. I do know about Earnest Evans though, it sort of reminded me of castlevania in the 1920s.

Yeah, it was both innovative and interesting and at the same time hilarious as hell to look at. I have to give them props for trying to come up with more fluid video game animation, but it just didn't work out, he looks like a mannequin dancing around!

So true, though I'm sure you and I can recall some of the successors of that design with sprites. STRETCHY BALL ARMS!!

Yeah, Vectorman managed to pull that off way better than Ernest Evans.

Thanks, I've been pretty much just trying to tighten up my inking as much as I can so I can color again.

I haven't coloured inks in for a long time would you be keen to let me have a go at it?
