FULLVIEW!I'm reading The Eternity Code again (after I read it three times in English, it finally got published in Hungarian, so I'm reading it in Hungarian this time).
EC is my fav Artemis Fowl book, and I always thought that these two lines told everything I wanted to hear about Holly's feelings for Arty. *insert hopeless romantic grin*
Four years ago I already drew Holly like this, and the pic used to be up on dA, but as time passed, I moved it to my scraps, then completely removed it from the site. Just for comparison, you can view the old version here: [link] Quite horrible, huh?

I'm quite sure I'm going to draw at least one scene from the sixth book. I haven't yet read it (will only get it at the end of August), but an American friend typed up a short scene from it to make me happy, and well... it made me very happy indeed.

Well that's good that your friend shared a scene with you, though that sucks you have to wait until the end of August though! 
However I think you'll find though that there's more than one awesome scene to draw from the book (luckily!)....I will be looking forward to seeing what you do then!

Inter-species isn't that weird, at least not in fiction (in reality, it, pedophilia, and even inbreeding incest are all taboo, but have happened, unfortunately [ex: the guy from Australia who married his dog & the Japanese man who made himself a robot girlfriend for the mixed-species thing]). For a fairy tale Disney example: The Little Mermaid and Beauty & the Beast (granted both pairs were both human at the end, but they fell in love before that)? For a Jim Henson example: Kermit the Frog/Miss Piggy, Gonzo the Whatever/Camilla the Chicken, Fozzie the Bear/Skeeter [gofer Scooter's tomboy twin sister, who was reintroduced per The Muppet Show: Family Reunion issue], Jareth [goblin king]/Sarah [human], etc.?

This is a scene from The Eternity Code - it's when Foaly asks Holly if she will miss Artemis once Artemis gets mind-wiped, and she says she will not miss him (which is obviously a lie).
