omg.......these flying sheep just got me $1000....LOLentry to a NZ digital art competition, and i actually made it into the finalists....lol.......WTH..........@!#*@(!
SO HAPPY~~ Not too much on the fact i made it into finalist but rather i actually got $1000.......T_____T been feeling extremely broke lately.........i can finally buy some new clothes......
apparently it'll be exhibited some time in New York Times Square...

i'm so proud 2 of the 3 winners are from my university. lol
Compositionally i don't feel this piece is too great, but the judges must have liked my puffy flying sheep. whahaha

oh really? i tabled last year... but i didnt really look around >.<. nah im in Freelance animation school, media design is too broad apparently (my tutors and a lot of ppl say the graduates not so good in animation principles...) but really in the end its all self taught...
i heard you talking about FDZ school, man that school is the real deal because they actually teach you hard solid formulas.

Oh ya, i searched up Freelance animation school before, you guys do a lot of 2D stuff right? that's what i feel in Massey, so many things self taught. haha
yeah, wish we have school like FDZ here, but i bet it's real hard to get into in the first place. >.<

do you do 3d animation? erk i'd not like 3d though, all the software process >: but our school has 3d class too. animation is same regardless of medium though
and yea, i bet it would be, but then, they just want to know if you have a designer mindset (problem solving). correct way of thinking and eagerness to learn..
you want to be a manga artist aye? I want to be a storyboarder.. which is kinda the same way of working..

as far as i can tell Massey animation is mainly 3D. (though there are so 2D animation papers, but they are just electives.) I kinda like 3D animation for its softwareness. XD
either way it's hard to get in. T.T
Manga artist was really my teenage dream. >.< now i'm really just trying to get into any area of animation, be it concept artist or animator...
