I had the sudden urge to draw a dragon. It's been what, 7 years or so since I've drawn one. He's flying up high, away from the busy bustle of humanity below. How I wish I could be up there with him.Sorry for the retarded anatomy! XD
I'm eliminating perfectionism from my artistic diet. It's been destroying me inside out and I'm not going to fight anymore. From now on I'm not going to be afraid of messing up in any way. It's going to happen how it wants too, and I'll be happy with it ^^
100% watercolor pencils. Pink, Purple and Blue. I think I'll be using this as a bookmark since it's pretty small.

Oh, and it's cute that it's smiling and sleeping (it has it's eyes closed,) neat that it is in a pose, that the body has perspective (larger nearing the bottom of the drawing,) and the wash on the scales - the scales' outline is neat with the bold colors, but perhaps it could be more gradual in shading... but it may be the style.

Wow, awesome colors! Love the over effect of the colors. Great selection. The drawing itself could be more defined, the dragon's head more defined and skinnier as well. Nice to see that watercolor pencil wash for the blue sky. Cool that it has claws.

I get extremely bored when I draw the same thing over and over again, whether it be animals, a certain theme, style, I know what you mean. I used to think of myself as a fantasy artist, but I think I'm a varied artist that likes fantasy ^^

The combination of soft pink and blue create a light feeling. They are colors of candy, of fluffy clouds and dreams. [I know this doesnΒ΄t make sense ^_^]

it's good that you wont let perfectionism rule in your drawings, I know what I'm talking about, because it is often the reason why I thought about giving everything up, it's good to accept your drawings the way they are and you can improve much more through that, it tried a long time untill I understood this finally

Yeah it feels so good to free myself up of it! I'm still struggling with perfectionism but I think trying some new things will help me be more relaxed with my art. Expression isn't supposed to be stressful!
