Me too about the lightsabers - there is an aptly named thing called a "dead man switch" which will turn off a power tool the moment you let go of the handgrip - hopefully all Jedi are taught to include that their lightsabers. 
Do you use Photoshop or another program for your coloring? I really like the look of the entire painting.

I'd never heard of that, but that's def a good idea (I really hope they do, though Kylo might not be great about safety...). And yes I use Photoshop for everything! Right now I'm using Photoshop CC, and thanks so much ahhh that's nice of you to say

Ha-ha, too true about Kylo and safety! He's about as unsafe as a person can be. I can just see him saying, "safety is for the weak!" and deliberately leaving that out when he built his saber. "No guts no glory!" Also it provides steady work for your medical staff, Kylo.
I play the online game Star Wars the Old Republic - a lot of my characters are Force-healers, but even a good healer can't keep a warrior alive who insists on doing silly things like standing in the enemy's fire.
Photoshop CC - is that the cloud-based version? It's been so long since I've looked at Photoshop I've lost track of the versions.

I hope Kylo lives though. I would love to see that happen because in some ways, death, like Vader got, is the easy way out. It is much harder to come around and know you will have many years of facing the consequences and all of the guilt and shame.

I think it's possible. To me THAT is the knowledge and experience that could actually help if Kylo were to pass it down to his son or daughter. Luke and Leia never had to go through it...Luke got close but he probably came off as a goody two-shoes to Ben. Too perfect. You know how that is, you think someone's full of themselves and too perfect, never faced a real challenge or REALLY misbehaved in their life. But someone who's had struggles more like you...THAT means something.
(I'm not saying Luke is a goody two shoes because he did have a brush with the Dark Side and he obviously has some major hangups to explain his conduct in this time frame. It's the perception of it...I know that sometimes as bad as it is, even at my age I take one of my parents a bit more seriously because he isn't Mr. Perfect and he had to struggle with his behavior in school the way I did, whereas my mom didn't. I know that's wrong...but that's the kind of thing I could imagine going through Kylo's mind towards Luke, kind of a "what the hell do YOU know??" attitude.)

<33 I loved this scene as well, but anything with snow is 100 times better.
I'm such a dork, but I really loved it when the lightsabers touched the snow and steam came out! <3
