there will be three of them.
Pingle, Erliot, and Rottie.
Pi.Er.Rot.
This one is probably going to be Erliot, the perpetually depressed one.

Well you're very good at it, haha! Did you enjoy it or did you find it tiresome and repetitive? Everyone has a different opinion, which I find interesting. I love doing detailed linework as much as I love looking at it!

haha, well- admittedly I think it's pretty fun to do ~ ! I can get very absorbed in lines, and I think it's somewhat therapeutic, haha. In all honesty I would love to incorporate this into comics ; D

the texture on his clothes, the colors, his facial expression.. averything looks amazing! and also I love pierrot and old european carnival stuff, burlesque, stuff like these (don't know how to expalin but I hope you get it haha), and in your style it's just beautiful!

ooooh, i'm looking forward to this comic~ anything relating to circuses always interests me!
i like the black and white version more though because of the emphasis on the red and the depiction of the mood,
but it looks just as nice in color too~ ^^

Wow, this is so gorgeous! I love the textures and how it looks like it's glowing. May I ask what materials you used to accomplish the textured shirt and the pink/purple/blue/yellow sparkling lines?

this is actually regular pen work, which I then scanned and coloured using Photoshop. The "sparkling lines" is the effect of using varying types of colours/textures. I simply overlayed and multiplied them over and over each other. After all is done, I readjusted the colours using hue/saturation. Mostly increased saturation and contrast to make the textures stand out.
