Description
This infography represents differents maps of the Shire and its surroundings, the country where the Hobbits lived, directly inspired by the works of J.R.R. Tolkien.
This infography clearly show the various versions of the Shire : the topography changes slightly but the topology remains the same.
The first four maps come from drafts published in the book "The Art of The Lord of the Rings", by W.G.Hammond & C.Scull, HarperCollins (2015). The final map comme frome the famous map of Middle Earth presented in first book of "the Lord of the Rings", the "Fellowship of the Ring", and drawn by Tolkien's son, Christopher.
